Z1 is a rather infamous game. It is probably the earliest example of Kamilia clones, except it's released before k3, so it's more of a k2 clone. Conventionally it's not good at all. It's filled with generic named jump needle, annoying and pointless traps and poorly balanced bosses. The difficulty curve is also quite wacky, as arguably the hardest save in the game is the kill the guy screen which is in stage 4 (there are 6 stages). Despite all this, I can definitely say that I enjoyed my time with this game. It has a certain charm to it, and a lot of it is comically bad which makes it entertaining to keep playing. Overall the vibe of the game gets a lot stronger in the second half, and this game has a great music selection. It's nothing too crazy, it definitely doesn't match Z2's aura, but I'm happy that this game exists.

I'm not really a fan of such copy clones like this even conceptually, but heh we have what we got. Overall, this game is pretty similar to infamous Kamilia 1, production value is about on the same level, design of needle is also quite same - first stages are mostly filled with traps and the later ones are needle-based. Surpsingly, exactly later stages was pretty bad, especially screen from Kill the Guy with a lot of drop gates in row and extremely chockable segment at the end, and also screen from Test my Control, which has horrible vine climb. There was some good pick tho, especially on stage 3 like Myself, Galaxy, Don't Gay (lol)
Bosses are kinda bright ray in this game. Don't misunderstood me, they are not great, but they are kinda fun and enjoyable to play overall. I quite enjoyed Cheetahmen, Pac-Man and Final boss specifically
So in general, probably, not worth your time, but if you wanna spend some time with old classic or beat trilogy in correct order, have a ride. At least, i think this game is kinda slightly underrated; it's bad, but not thaaaaat bad after all

Вся игра в целом очень напоминает Kamilia 1: заголовки экранов, куча экранов с ловушками, боссы с непонятным нагромождением спрайтов, общая кривота во всём. Однако последние три босса довольно неплохие, особенно хочу выделить последнего босса, он мне действительно понравился, если бы я оценивал отдельно финального босса, то поставил бы ему не меньше 6/10 по интересности. Однако некоторые экраны в игре просто ужасны и при этом сложны, в целом я не могу порекомендовать кому-либо играть в эту игру (разве что вам не лень пройти весь мусор ради финального босса)
