Fruitless
Rating based on everything outside of secrets.
One of Zorgo's earlier games, it still holds up pretty well today. Some of the saves in the game are designed incredibly well, with movements that feel so natural to pull off. Others, however, feel more grindy and less fun, especially around the point you reach the third stage. If the game was consistently at the level of the good saves, then I'd be willing to give an 8, but as for what we have, this is still good. Oh, and after you beat the first 3 stages, you get an extra stage based on I Wanna Be The Baka, made by a bunch of people. This is a bit harder than what you've already played, but if you've made it this far, it's nothing too difficult or unfun.
It's an old classic that still holds up, would recommend.

basic multi-stage needle game consisting of mostly short saves with simple or slightly improved generic visuals. a good amount of the difficulty of the game lies in the EX stage, which contains (unfortunately) very subpar needle when compared to the rest. oh and unfortunately the long deathless secret exists, which contributes the remainder of the difficulty. the game’s needle is actually alright, it’s fun to run through but your pace is instantly broken by first the EX stage and then the deathless secret. not to mention that the secret’s needle isn’t anything like the needle in the rest of the game, making it even more uncomfortable
