Fun little collab game with a leaderboard to add a little extra to it, each screen is quite different, particularly in the second half of the game I started enjoying them a bit more but I'd say I liked every screen. Worth a playthrough.

As one might expect from a game with so many creators making one floor each, Competitive Tower Climbing is a huge mixed bag. There are a lot of good floors in here, but they're dragged down by some unpleasant ones, with a few really annoying jumps mixed in. The game shines at the end, the screens that break out of the tower are cool visually, and feature some creative layouts.

The biggest detractor from the game is the difficulty balance. I found myself on multiple occasions taking several minutes on a screen only to beat the next in a few tries. Even within screens a lot of saves feel wildly different in terms of difficulty. I think a large balance pass and reordering of screens would've helped this game a lot.

Overall, a decent game that I would recommend, but it certainly has it's low points.

The needle was good, though not great. At times things felt more precise than was necessary, and a few screens could have used an extra save for smoother difficulty. One save required the player to hold down shift before walking off, but with spikes overhead, which made for some gross gameplay. Ditto for the dark background, which makes it that much harder to be precise.

This was alright, some of the saves felt pretty fun while others being somewhat tedious. The third screen (open space with the freely placed spikes) was definitely my least favorite in the game.
