Fucking fantastic.
I only thing I don't like is the lack of variable jumping. But that isn't really a problem due in part to the level design.
Easily in my top 5 fangames.

Really enjoyable decently short adventure game. Pairing a memey aesthetic with fairly high production values, Chungo's Gauntlet appears to be a pretty shallow jokefest on the surface but through a mix of great execution and some pretty good (if not the most insanely creative ever) ideas it stands as a really enjoyable romp. The bosses are all unique and have good gameplay loops, the environments are varied but all have cohesive themes, and it has a good difficulty ramp leading up to the final boss gauntlet. The further in you get, the more experimental it gets, and in my opinion the more enjoyable it becomes. For those seeking a game that is easy enough to be digestible for those decently acquainted with precision platformers while still providing enough challenge to be rewarding, this is a very solid choice.

Takes me back to when I was playing the original IWBTG in high school 15 years ago. It's not really an IWBTG fangame, per se, but it perfectly captures the spirit of troll games new and old while remaining accessible to players of all skill levels. It even manages to have bosses that don't have atrocious amounts of HP. What more could you ask for?

First off I will say immediately, that this isn't so much of a fangame, but more of a game in its own standing. It has different physics, set jump heights, and is not made in a Fangame engine; it's just separate in general from anything else on Delfruit. There are direct references to IWBTG Fangames of course, and the gameplay is rather similar in style, so everyone should definitely give it a try anyway. Regardless, it's really fucking good, this is truly a gem amongst video games.
Chock loaded with dozens of references to memes, video games, and several other mediums, this is basically a love letter tribute just as much as Kayin's IWBTG is. It's clear that the maker was inspired by various things, ranging from trap heavy works to even experimental fangames like I Wanna Burnmind. And as inspired as it might be, this game is one of the most unique things I have ever played, and it's good enough to the point that I would have paid money to buy it on steam if needed.
The stages are pretty good, with each having their own particular theme throughout them, but the next to last one is a miraculous work that will remind most fangamers of I Want or Burnmind, it does also credit them as inspirations at the end so you know they had the good mind juice making this one. The bosses are also pretty amazing, ranging from regular-style boss fights to some with a special gimmick that plays pretty fun. The last boss is also really good and is essentially a long sequence (with checkpoints) that really makes you feel like you accomplished a grand final showdown at the end of it.
Overall, it might not be that much of a fangame, but it's still just a good game in general. It's also easy enough for anyone, including beginners, to pick up and play any day of the week. I'm so glad this was shared with the community as it really deserves to be put in a spotlight for how fun it was.
Amazing game, highly recommended!
