Exactly what a sequel should be: takes Burnmind and goes bigger and bolder. Enjoyed just about everything this game had to offer and it had a LOT to offer me.
You should probably play Burnmind first to enjoy the references a bit more, but even if you don't, you'll have a great time with Freezemind.

When everybody was saying Freezemind was a masterpiece and everybody was loving it, I wanted to give it a chance, because it looked like it could be great. And at the beginning yeah it was looking promising. That didn't last, it's just yet another "haha funny" game, which admittedly it's not a bad thing, most people like these sorts of things, however, they do the same thing over and over again that it gets really tiring and it just brings nothing new to the table. They can be summed up to:
-Effects that distorts the screen and literally makes you see nothing
-Scrolling Google images backgrounds
-Meme songs
-Fart or loud sounds (because yes I guess)
-Terrible controls that are somehow supposed to be a gimmick???
And yeah this is pretty much all these types of games brings, it's nothing new, not bad either, just not a "10/10 masterpiece best game ever"
The game has good quality factors, it's well produced, has good ideas, and some stages are legit enjoyable, apart from that, I can't really say this is a great game

First of all, I started to play this game because it won the award for the best art and it was nominated to best fangame of the year, so I expected a really good game with good visuals, so i decided to not judge the game before playing it and giving it a try. Anyways, it ended up disappointing me really bad because of certain facts that I will mention.
1. In my opinion, I think its a disrespect that this game won the award for the best art. The visuals are just a spam of effects which makes the game extremely uncomfortable to play, and because of this i couldn't enjoy the gimmicks at all.
2. The difficulty distribution for the first part of the game sucks, theres some free stage and then some stupidly hard stages, and the fact that the order is random can mess up someones experience.
3. This game is literally a sudoku game. While the first half of the game is a kinda serious and good game, the second half is just a constant bad joke which becomes annoying after playing it for a while. (Tbh i would never consider this a serious game).
4. The visuals arent just unbearable, the visuals are also really bad optimized. The bhop Stage was running at 10fps and I almost dropped the game because it was unplayable.
5. I would also like to mention some other unbearable stages. The wind stage with the animal crossing moles was a complete garbage. The broken crystals gimmick was also annoying. And the pink stage with the sucked blocks and spikes gimmick was horrible.
6. The music selection was really bad, even though this is an "experimental game", the music just gets annoying at some point.
To sum up, this is the perfect example of how a game with fantastic ideas gets completely ruined by some terrible visuals, and it is ironic because RandomErik have made some of the best visuals in the community, which you can see in others of his games.
And I'm really disappointed about the fact that this game got more appreciation than his other games.

Its pretty decent, but i think burnmind was better
I suggest playing Hereditary Baldness 1 and I Want for this but more raw and mindblowing. This game just spams shaders for visual challenge
