Overall positive adventure experience with two paths where both makers just make different sections, both ending in decently iconic avoidances (if you have been here for a while). Platforming wise, it is some of the most charming for its era, including one of the famous penalty rooms and the usual DKC love.
The only things that are somewhat of a bother are the avoidances and the cirno boss.
The avoidances are a positive experience for me, but if the intros bother me as someone who considers himself good at avoidance, I can't imagine trying your hand at this game while having a skillset closer to the minimum or average expected for this game. As per a lot of old avoidances from these makers, they just really like aura farming for intros and random sections of the song where you do nothing but appreciate the visuals I guess, which makes it somewhat painful to die really far into them, especially since a lot of these go up in difficulty by like 20 points in the ending patterns. It does not happen much nowadays but it is a detail that does kinda age annoyingly for some games. They are still overall really good though.
The cirno boss on the other hand I just did not like at all. It is pretty much completely fine until the last "upgrade" she gets where her head just starts following you. The boss still dashes at the same speed and only comes from the right, meaning that trying for the gaps on the right feels like a gamble. This might as well be the only reason I give this game this difficulty, as I found it even harder than the avoidances. You kind of just have to play out of your mind for the last few shots.

This game has the roughness of the early Dagger era reminding me a lot of how Excalibur plays, but with more thought process into making the platforming feel less rough while still keeping that feeling that he is experimenting with whatever comes to his mind during the game.
Some of the bosses are still somewhat rough and platforming wise it can hit you with some really annoying ones but now there are way more positives than negatives. You can tell he was improving both in gameplay structure and creativity at an awesome rate.

requires elite align knowledge and cancel expertise here and there. Tried to make every jump feel unique and relate somehow to their respective major arcana tarot card or whatever. 19 or something screens of 32 pixel needle. Like lap around, but if it was different and not really lap around at all.

Couldn't find anyone to test so I played it myself.

Combines a bunch of ideas from games that focus on RNG, which in concept can make for something really fun, but for me it did not help how extreme some characteristics in the platforming are, making it harder in a really stressful way.
Most games present these random mechanics in sections of digestible length with a lot less going on, so adding a lot more and making lengthy sections where everything goes wrong just does not click with me for this kind of game.
There are some great ideas here though, and I appreciate that.
