Very good aesthetic as always. Save balance was a bit off. The reviews which complained about the 9th screen were addressed and the screen got nerfed. Overall very competent but the save balance was so-so.

For: I wanna break the Neon Miku
Note: The final platforming screen raised the final difficulty rating 10 points.

There are many aspects I liked about this, which certainly make it an above-average fangame for me all the way, and the finest competition ever made for Thenader2:

1) Is design an important element for you and also a common complaint from you? You choose the design! You can make it as crazy as you want. I prefer the "Normal" mode. The neon colors are gorgeous. A lot of effort went into the visual design.
2) Is Saves placement in fangames an important element for you and also a common complaint from you? You choose the placement! You set your difficulty to the desired level.
3) The "Normal" difficulty is, since IWBTG, a perfectly reasonable "normal" difficulty. You can choose the Easy difficulty for, literally, a walk through the park, placing up to 4 Saves per screen in average.
4) It literally raises a middle finger to you right after the Miku encounter. This is a con for many and I can see why: non-veterans will curse this screen to hell. Thank you for preparing me, Sunspike!
5) It plays psychologically with you. You actually even feel guilty for the final outcome and for "beating" the game.
6) Creative, non-basic platforming needle jumps for experienced players.

The cons:

1) The music. It doesn't suit this game at all, not even the emotional mood of the story. I don't like it at all. Ask Thenader2 for guidance in this.
2) It is too short! That harms the rating a lot.
3) I expected the same recipe from I Wanna Be The Strongest Fairy: Needle action followed by an avoidance, but the latter never came :'( Why???? The ending would pack an even stronger punch.

Recommended? Yeah, all the way. It is a good neon game that delivers many goods and an unexpected outcome that makes you question, well, everything.

For: I wanna celebrate 100
It manages to surpass all Conquer The Blow fangames, which is not saying much at all. It is an ugly game for me almost in every segment. You basically shouldn't die in the first 30 Floors (ok, maybe the first 29), and then something weird happens: the difficulty curve is not a curve; it has the shape of a mountain, with the hardest sections in the middle. The best segments are towards the last 20-2X floors and all the bad kind of stupid bosses are just foreplay for a rather interesting final boss, which is the good kind of stupid. 75% of the game is forgettable and uninspired, except for the Book segment, which was genius.

There is effort behind, I can tell, but I wouldn't recommend this as a beginner game or as a 100 Floor game. 100 Trials remains as my favorite so far. It has good segments, I accept, but it is not worth suffering so many ugly segments for being not-proportionally rewarded with the final sections after bad platforming, an ugly soundtrack, dumb moments and a very uneven difficulty progression.

Sorry. I guess I don't have a heart :(

For: I wanna series Mixture relay 6
The newest entry in the Series Mixture Relay series. Instead of the usual black outline visuals, here they kinda seem to represent his newer artstyle thats most notably seen in Scribble Notes. Personally I like how they look.

It features 3 regular stages with 2 bosses, but theres an extra stage, complete with an extra boss that can be accessed by entering a password that opens a gateway in the first stage. You get the password after playing to a certain point, then a .txt file will show up in your folder with the password in it.

The first stage is a grassland/cave area with thorns and various enemies that either can fall off the ceiling or be shot and explode into pieces, shoot little balls repeatedly or wear a shield that deflects your shots. I found the last one to be pretty creative since one of the screens uses it for a small segment and I wish that used much more throughout the game, I think it appears once or twice later on. The first "boss" here is a mushroom that shoots small mushrooms at random directions. I wouldn't even call it a boss since it used the regular stage music opposed to other bosses in the game.

The second stage is a factory which has to my favorite stage in the game, excluding the boss. Lots of creativity shown here and things may get hard at times but still acceptable in a kind of way. However, this mechanical eyeball thing at the end of the stage feels way too difficult compared to whats been done earlier on. You can shoot the two little eyeballs that spawn after a while but even then you've gotta deal with the spinning saws that appear at random, and to top it all of the boss shoots a bunch of lasers. I felt like I kinda got lucky at the attempt when I did beat it because of all the crazy dodges I had to do.

Lastly, the third stage has to be some kind of mansion or laboratory? Anyway, the stage mostly consists of screens with blocks that explode and make a chain reaction or mechanical balls with various ways of attacking the player. The boss here references the final bosses from the first four Series Mixture Relay games. Each phase has visuals from earlier stages with the exception of the final phase, which are completely unique.

The last stage features hanging eyeballs that shoot when you jump and some plant blowing wind that makes it harder to see where you are going. In my opinion, this stage kinda felt bland compared to the other ones.

The extra boss is to keep it short an giant clock thing along with a green floating ball that occasionally shoots at you. It has a gimmick attached to it: A red laser that goes down on repeat and freezes you for a few seconds upon contact. The clock can either spawn two circles that start moving after you're able to move again or four lines that come from every side that move once time freezes, requiring you to be in midair once you do so. The less HP the clock has, the more eyes spawn on the ceiling. After you land the final hit on the clock it falls into the ground, you've gotta finish off the green ball while being cautious with the bullets the eyes shoot once you want to jump.

Not one of the best ones in the series but not the worst one either. Consider giving it a go and maybe you'll like it more than what I did.

It is enjoyable for the most part (well, half of it), but let me state something before anything:

The death sound sucks. It just sucks. You have no idea how much it sucks. Like, it sucks. It is louder than anything. You die and you hear a loud "PIGHHFFTT!!!". It just sucks. It frustrated me to no end.

There are issues with the overall sound too. The soundtrack is nice (nothing groundbreaking or even better than other fangames that have made terrific soundtrack choices), but the volume is sometimes too low and then it is way off. Like, why? I mostly played with a low volume so that whenever it was pumped up, it didn't sound too hard. Of course, during the lowest parts, you could almost hear a thing.

These are two huge handicaps that you are meant to endure during the entire game. For being a 2012 game, the design is cool-looking, with RNG for coloring the spikes during the first areas. Color schemes are pleasant and never eye-punishing. The first stages are the best, with creative jumps that never got boring and great designs, my favorite being the very first part. Actually, the first part had tons of optional harder routes, most of them consisting of corner jumps, and I gladly took them. It was faster and more challenging. There is even a part where you can skip half of the screen doing a double corner jump upwards, and I happily did it. I love games with alternate routes for optional challenge. That is ok for difficulty standards, but this takes me to the next topic:

The difficulty curve is such a gigantic mess. There were rough edges here and there with substantially easier intermissions. I had no idea what to expect, because I would die dozens of times in a screen and only 1 or 2 times at the next, and sometimes, in the same screen, I would die much more to a save than to the next one. Extremely inconsistent.

Finally, we have the maze, where most of the complaints come from and, ironically, I didn't mind it as bad. It was fun to explore. It was a challenge and nothing substantially cryptic because I took the correct route the first time and ALMOST did what was intended, but took another false exit. The rest of the times I explored all other possible false exits, lol. I did waste my chances, and facepalmed later for "that" route that I had missed in my first try. Dang.

I would recommend it if sound issues aren't a huge thing for you. I might sound like too picky, but my ears resented the experience the entire time and it wasn't cool at all. If it had been a momentary issue, this would have a higher rating.

Recommended? Yeah, but not begginers, but for newbies looking for a harder challenge.

Somewhat challenging 100F needle game that was nice to turn on and die a few times to. The rating is based on the extra needle rooms which were more difficult than anything in the base game which could be somewhere around a 70 in difficulty. Probably the only gripes I have with this game is the death sound affect, which is not too big of a flaw admittedly, and some of the difficulty balancing. (But) even with these setbacks, I would still recommend this game, also props for using Umi no Namida as BGM.

You know when someone is competent at needle making from just looking at it alone, and Dopamine is one of those people. There are some ups and downs here, but the few stupid jumps are overshadowed by a genuinely fun and interesting needle game. Dopamine is also good at making needle and jumps that aren't ruined by really high difficulty, so not only does it stay consistent, but its also fun to play. Ignoring a couple of specific trouble jumps, I would highly recommend playing this, even for how short it is.
