For: I Wanna Get The Coins
I rarely find fangames that are worth my time nowadays, but since this is a collectathon game I couldn't resists giving this a shot. I have yet to finish this game and I'm not planning to (please refer to the cringe segment of this review), but I have seen enough of it to give an opinion.

The game itself is split into multiple worlds, each containing 5 doors. Each door leads you to a unique stage where you must acquire all the coins in order to proceed to the next world.

The good:
---------
Presentation wise, it uses a variety of SMB1 visuals and music. The menu is fairly unique and everything is presented in a nice and elegant way.

Almost every single level features a new mechanic which keeps the game fresh throughout the playthrough.

Some of the levels feature interesting and unique mechanics such a race against other players or a quiz segment. Stages such as these are great for taking a break after some of the more challenging rooms.

The meh:
--------
I wish it wasn't mandatory to get all the coins in order to proceed to the next stage, as some of them reek of questionable level design. But alas, the creator made the brave decision to make them all mandatory before you experience anything new in the next world.

The cringe:
-----------
This is the part that ultimately made me drop the towel, I gave up at the trap stage. Now before you raise your voice and spout "How could the retired troller himself hate the trap stage?!" let me explain. I've done this mistake myself in the past when I was working on my first trap game, so I'm guilty of this as well. Here's my gripe with it:

Whilst you're still figuring out the traps in the 2nd save, you stumble upon the first "enjoy your lifetime" punishment room. It's all laughs and giggles at first until you realize that there's another trap shortly after that brings you... you guessed it! Back to the punishment room. The punishment is 2 screens long with loud anime music blasting your ears while you're trying to scramble your way through the invisible block maze, which mind you has a pit trap near the end of it.
At this point I started questioning whether it's worth my time to continue playing this mess, but I pushed through trying to get over to the next save, falling many times into the punishment room over and over.

At some point I didn't find any enjoyment playing this stage and that's when I decided to move on. This is why I wish the coins weren't mandatory, so you could at least experience everything that the game has to offer and then come back to the lesser stages if you desire so.

Verdict:
--------
Overall the stage is a pleasant surprise when the norm is a new jtool needle game every couple days or so, and I have to give credit where is due since the developer definitely put a lot of his effort and time into this project. But the mandatory coins and some of the less than ideal segments left a bitter taste in my mouth. This review isn't meant to shit on his efforts, but rather to reflect the game for what it is and how KingSlendy can improve his future games.

Thanks for tuning in to my ted talk

A genuinely well made trap game, it builds upon almost every foundation that the last 2 games were lacking in.

The traps are definitely the star of this show, from the first screen it sets the expectations high and it doesn't fail to deliver all the way through!

Would highly recommend trying this one out, the last 2 games aren't necessary to enjoy this one.

This game earns the seal of disapproval. Give a round of applause everyone!

The long awaited sequel to the first Vegetable game, but does it live up to the hype?
Well to start things off, the game follows a similar style to the original where you go to different routes and find key items. The game has to offer 3 bosses and while they are nothing special the last boss gave me a sour taste in the end which I will discuss in more detail later on.

Platforming:
The platforming ranges from generic to questionable. Most of it is made of static spike jumps mixed with flying spike traps, unpredictable walls. But occasionally I would get a chuckle out off a good trap or a reference so it's not all terrible. One thing that left me confused for a while is the backtracking for the forest area (solution ->)In the room with the moving gate in the very end there's an invincible wall with hidden blocks on top of it, first trigger the spike wall from the left in the previous room and go up where the spikes came from instead of taking the bottom route, this was probably the lowest point for the platforming of this game to the point where I though the game was left untested.

Bosses:
The first 2 bosses were ok, personally I enjoyed the first 2 bosses, while they lack any complex attack they get their job done. While the final boss... oh boy where do I even begin. The first phase of the boss was pretty fair for the most part and most of the deaths were usually the player's fault. But on the flip side, the 2nd phase is full of bad design choices which made almost wanna quit the game. The mix of pressure and intense rng made it most of the time unfair, because of the spiky vines I was forced to kill the boss as fast as possible rather than strategise and kill them in a less risky order. That only lead to unfair rng bursts when the mushrooms split so being close to them was a risky option. Also the lack of a healthbar on each mushroom made it really difficult to keep track of them since I need to know when to shoot and to avoid it. My solution to this fight would be to include a healthbar to each individual mushroom (including phase 1) because this is 2019, also making the mushroom spiting less random or maybe even a pattern would also improve phase 2 by a mile, and lastly please for the love of God give the player more time with the vines.

While this is not the greatest game out there, it genuinely doesn't have to be. I know the creator didn't meant it to be taken seriously and I can respect that. Sure some parts might hold it back from being a good meme game but this is still a decent game compared to the trash that is being uploaded constantly to the wiki.

I'd say give this game a try, that is all.
