I found this game to be underwhelming honestly. It's definitely a quite good game, but it fell short in my opinion compared to the other games in the series. (excluding extra, which I found to be the best part of the game.) The main game felt like it had a lot of annoying jumps. I was getting frustrated in a few parts because I kept dying to the same jumps in certain saves. Not to say the game is not fun or good. It is a game I would definitely recommend despite my complaints. The game is chocked full of interesting and unique jumps, cool trigger rooms, good music, good graphics, funny secrets, and, of course, the extra. Would recommend.

Overall very solid needle game. The water stuff was cool, but quite annoying at times. Just kind of awkward and slightly unfun stuff. Platform usages were great. The last screen has a sphincter and you jump out of the sphincter into a full(maybe not full, but close to it) vspeed diagonal which makes that save kind of meh in my opinion. There was also one save that doubled my death count on like the 5th or 6th screen. It may have just been a me thing though. Still highly recommended game. The aesthetic is very pleasant. It has an old school needle game kind of vibe to it while keeping up with the modern platforming ideas with unique platform jumps. Recommended.

DISCLAIMER: This review is needle only. No avoidances because I can only avoid stationary projectiles.
This is a really good needle game. My only complaints are some saves that feel unnecessarily precise, but these mostly occur during the "boss" needle rooms. These, and the final stage were the weakest parts of the game in my opinion. Overall, it's a high recommendation. Fun and difficult needle that's well worth playing. Hell, I even liked the water stage and water needle is usually DansGame

Very good game. I like this one a LOT more than Witch's Needle, which I found kind of annoying. It is very fun with interesting jumps and mostly good use of gimmicks. My issues have to do with some annoying jumps and save balance. There was a very long and difficult save in the first area which was harder than probably anything in the next stage. It felt out of place. (Turns out you just use the same save point twice and I'm just blind and dumb making the segment way harder than it should have been. Oops.) Beyond this, there were just occasional saves that felt too hard and some obnoxious jumps.
