Peculiar and not actually so short adventure fangame, which is made by Yuutu and which even has its own story.
About story there are already some other reviews, and the only thing, which I can say is that sadly you won't enjoy much of it, unless you know Japanese. About gameplay I have to say that first half of the game I kind of disliked, but second one I actually liked very much. The thing is that for the first half of the game I felt that traps are too generic and unenjoyable, first boss too confusing to be enjoyed and cloud gimmick is not only hard to do properly, but also it is not obvious, that you can teleport from edge of the screen to another. I am really glad that second boss has 2 phases and first one is really short, which helps to get rid of silly cloud gimmick, even though that does not mean that you can forget about it, since after that you return to the beginning, but you have to jump from one cloud to another. I liked how it returned there and gives alternative look of the beginning and I really liked how epic soundtrack was chosen and how everything looked fun and interesting, however as I get it, you cannot skip long intro (or you can?). After that there ar several unusual gimmicks, like getting everyone to the rocket ship to save and after that fight with asteroids to save the earth. Also idea of friendship importance looked quite cliché, but I guess it is OK. I wish there would be some after story after saving the earth, however there is only small moment with TV and that is all.
At first I was really disappointed and thought that I am going to rate everything really low, however second half was more creative to me, so I guess I am going to rate it higher because of this. Also this game has restarting music, but luckily it isn't annoying and you may even not notice it, which is very nice. Would recommend if you have a free time and want to play an adventure game.

Save the Earth starts with The Kid watching a television broadcast, being informed that the Earth is in danger of being destroyed and thus, he must set out to save it! This starts a somewhat short but memorable adventure with a few very eye opening segments that you're sure to not forget.
The platforming is fairly basic with a multitude of traps thrown in for good measure. They're usually very simplistic in nature but manage not to get too tedious. There are also a couple of gimmicks here and there, one of which shakes up the playstyle quite monumentally. I found a certain cloud-related gimmick to be kind of frustrating and not particularly fun to play which I think could've been more enjoyable with more leniency.
It also features a couple bosses which are kinda fun. The first being a little seemingly busted and confusing in regards to the win condition, and the latter ones being somewhat simple but not too demanding. Also if you find yourself doing a long run before the first boss every time, once you jump over the laser before the boss screen, it spawns a save point. I kept just jumping into the boss room and never saw this for a while so I had to do the 3 screen run every time. Wouldn't recommend.
Overall a pretty memorable short adventure game with some rough edges but also some very memorable moments. I'd say it's well worth a play to kill some time and experience what it's like to save the Earth with the power of friendship.

It has some story, but is pretty short. Some needle and trolls sections, then some clouds that you have to land on VERY softly or you'll fal through, then a "boss", then a Katamari minigame, then you save the earth in a horizontal shmup sequence.
