Peppermint Dandy is the second needle game in my Uhuhu-inspired needle series. I continued off the same ideas I built the previous one from, basing the game around interesting and unusual jumps whilst trying to stay intuitive to the player. I attempted to lower the overall difficulty slightly as well as make it slightly shorter than Butterscotch, which whilst I did manage, I think still could've been trimmed down a tiny bit more. I ended up particularly fond of my multiple trigger save, and would've liked to have done more of these but that's something I can keep in mind for a future game. Overall this was again very fun to make, and hopefully you have fun searching for the Peppermint Dandy!

A really well made needle game that makes some really beautiful structures out of spikes, including many really wacky jumps that all flow really well into each other, are really fun to execute & get consistent at, and are well varied to one another. Combined with the triggers making really unique routes of progression, without too much backtracking involved, you've got a really good game.
I feel like my issues don't lie in the gameplay. Instead, my primary problem is that this game could have done with a progress tracker, as you don't know how much more rooms there are until you reach the area with the final warp in the center. Until you reach that point, you're kind of just left in the dark on how far you are in this game.
Generally, would highly recommend, this game is excellently made. :)

This game is pretty obvious in what it's inspirations are but deviates quite heavily from the original uhuhu spike games, I would say the way it's designed is more "standard" than those games but it's also quite a bit more balanced and in my opinion flows a decent bit better. It's simple fun needle and it does a really good job at that, definitely worth a playthrough.

Decent. The only thing that drags this game down is the myriad of ledge jumps in almost every save.
