EDIT: once you hit floor 31, the game discards all the stuff I enjoyed about it and turns into very precise precision/vaguely-FTFA-esque needle. cannot reccomend playing past the first 6 stages unless you enjoy that type of thing.
a 100(?) floor game that is based around a lot of unique setups that make seemingly insane jumps consistent and easy to pull off. functions almost as a simultaneous combination of puzzle and needle, as if you ignore or dont understand how to look for the setups, the needle will be significantly harder. The needle is not 100% made of these setups however, so it doesnt become completely free if you know all the setups. most of the setups here are also very unique and not ones I have ever seen before. You of course have a handful of standard 2block/4block trick diagonals and corners, but you also have some really crazy stuff like a bonk-wallhug that perfectly puts you into a raw 16 px midair without the need to stutter, or a vineplatform combo that lets you just jump+right out of a tight jump easily, or a midair djump bonk to get a good vstring for a corner, to name a few.
the needle beyond the setup stuff is also all very fun and mostly smooth, and also contains a decent helping of clever pathing that breaks out of the standard tricks everyone knows already. ive only made it to floor 26 as of writing this, and the difficulty has been very very slowly and smoothly increasing, so dont get scared by the game starting off around the 60 difficulty range, as it doesnt get much harder as far as ive gotten. theres also a surprising amount of variety despite sticking to it's design philosophy throughout. There's even an L needle stage from 16-20, but dont worry since theres no required 2fs/1fs/cancels, and its mostly pretty chill (minus one save which felt like rng but its a single jump and isnt actually hard).
writing this review so early as to hopefully encourage people to try this game. pure needle games tend to fly under the radar on delfruit if they arent either meme-material or 99 difficulty, and I think this one deserves to get some attention from needle players.

Consistently satisfying vanilla needle with a couple slightly annoying parts. Hard but not over the top, and I was frequently a fan of how forgiving the design was most of the time. Not the most engaging game I've ever played, but a great time is had if you approach it right.

I will not give a rating for this game as I think my general opinion is greatly brought down by my experience and taste in needle as a whole and I don't want to bring its rating down exponentionally just because I didn't have fun with the game. But that being said this is one of the most disappointing fangames I have ever played. Although the first 30 floors were really good, and the next 20 floors were fine, the last 25 floors of the game gave me absolutely 0 enjoyment. For me, Madoka Needle, up until the last floor, for the most part kept getting worse as it went on as it devolved into unfun and unreasonably precise FTFA-needle. The last floor was a nice change of pace, but in my opinion it is slightly too hard compared to the rest of the game, I feel as if it should be a bit easier. Although I was very disappointed with the game personally, if you are interested in the game and/or are interested in FTFA-like needle, I recommend watching a clear video and seeing how you feel about it. Although it wasn't for me, this game should be enjoyable to a lot of other people.

This game is an 80 floor needle game which sort of feels like a bunch of mini FTFAs, which is a sort of neat style, this is kinda selling the game short because there's a bit of variety, but for the most part it's a lot of precision, whether it be short saves or long saves. The biggest issue I have by far with this game is many saves sort of just feel unbalanced, with random jumps being way harder than others or just frustrating awkward sections. A lot of saves feel like you are just walking to the really hard jump and then die or choke after, which makes for a game which can get really exhausting and tedious. It's not awful, I like the game even but it definitely has issues that prevent it from being a favorite. I will say I really liked the final save, it was very consistent and fun, certainly my favorite in the whole game. I'd say this game is worth trying but it missed the mark for me in many areas.
