I really had a blast with this one, this developer's games are always a breath of fresh air. HEAVY TANUKI-SAN is a three stage adventure game, mainly focused on gimmick platforming with some well placed traps sprinkled without.
The usage of simple gimmicks is brilliant. Each stage builds on a gimmick, introducing new aspects that always feel really clever and fun to play with! In particular, the second stage feels more like a gimmick needle game than an adventure game, with a really fun gimmick and lots of clever platforming.
The entire game is really atmospheric, particularly the third stage. It feels more "adventurey" than the previous stage, with interconnected paths and lots of different gimmicks rather than one central feature.
I really like how the game uses simple, familiar concepts. The early game has some really neat apple cycles, and the third stage uses basic mechanics to create unique feeling saves. In particular, the traps are all very simple, lots of flying spikes, but they're placed immaculately, managing to get some good chuckles and never feeling frustrating.
While the first boss is rather typical, the second and third are a different story. The second is based around a neat gimmick, that felt simple at first but had clever layers added as the fight progressed. I wound up thinking the boss was super unique, and a really smart idea. The third boss is, simply put, epic. It was a complete blast, and manages to be a highlight of an already incredible game. I highly encourage you to see it for yourself!
Overall, a game that follows a classic adventure style, but with modern innovation. The platforming is super fun and well designed, the traps are funny, and the bosses are a blast. I would highly recommend this game to adventure fans!

Simple One jump yep game. There is a song timed trigger that makes the character go down and the spikes on the left come towards you. Requires a pretty precise jump, and i'm not sure if bhop is required but i did it to my make my life a little bit easier.
Not reccomended unless you want a 2 minute clear.

A collection of Hasi's work. Gotta say the game put together has been very enjoyable with some tweaks here and there from your original games which makes it more enjoyable. The music selection is amazing and the breaks with needle here and there is nice. I give you full marks. Outstanding work.

Notorious avoidance, it has some pretty infamous attacks like the vertical lovetrap pattern which has RNG in it, and the third chorus having ridiculous curving attacks in it. This game is very unfair, there are many situations where you can't do anything, and many times you won't get a single good attempt for an extended period of time because you keep getting unlucky or situations a human couldn't possibly react to without a good guess. With that being said I think it's very fun, as with most vocaloid avoidances the bullshit can be very funny with how absurd it gets, plus the design of the game in general is strange and interesting. The RNG reading is genuinely a lot of fun in this fight, the vertical lovetrap attack I mentioned is extremely fun to improve at, and the feeling you get from the black background part to the end is something I've never felt before, it is exhilarating. This is the embodiment of a guilty pleasure for me.

It's one of the best games I've played so far. It is undoubtedly the best game of its time; In my personal experience, whenever I go and start from scratch, I think this Kale is a fucking genius.How did he manage to combine this seemingly unrelated element with the needle?From the time I first started playing this game to finally completing it, I still feel that this game can be played many times, and many times I will find it very fun.Some places are more difficult? I don't think that detracts from the fact that it is a very good game, and its production philosophy has surpassed any fangame of its era, and it has also opened up the later Gimmick era.I love this game.
