I put together this iwanna for a game dev class assignment I'm doing this semester at university (so don't be afraid to be honest with your reviews!). I feel as though there is a lot more I could've done with it, but I decided to put it out as a demo. While I've had experience making iwannas in the past, this was still a learning experience for me, as I've programmed gimmicks for the first time in a long time, possibly ever.
This is a short demo of 3 stages, consisting of 3 screens each. Each involves a different, unique gimmick to it.
Due to the nature of my development on the project, having done this for an academic project, I can't entirely promise this'll bloom into a full, longer, finished game. But who knows! It might happen in the future.

The second attack might actually be the most atrocious shit I've ever seen in an iwanna, even RNG aside.
Unlike what other reviews say, this isn't just needing to "be lucky" (although you will certainly need a lot of it to get anything even remotely avoidable); you also need to execute the few times you get lucky. And good luck doing that when everything is flying at mach 5 speeds. To put things into perspective, some people, like Mastermaxify, can beat this in a 2-4 minute interval with some regularity. I, myself, in 1334 attempts and 2 hours of grinding, was only able to make it to the 3rd attack *eight times.* You're expected to survive *four* attacks; none of my eight 3-rounders made it to round 4. Let that sink in.

This is a joke arcade game, obviously, but it fails at even being a funny one because of the fact that 1. enemies can spawn *inside* you, instantly killing a high score attempt through no fault of your own (sometimes this happens as soon as an attempt starts!), and 2. you have to wait several seconds before trying again if you die.
Being a joke game doesn't excuse it from feeling miserable to play; Kill the Sudoku was funny and didn't feel like a slog. It really doesn't even have much reason to exist; I only found out about this game because of Mastermaxify's RNG Marathon runs. This honestly would've been like a 1.0 score for me but the aforementioned jank really takes away the one point I would've given this. It'd actually be kind of amusing without the jank.

Not that it starts bad or anything, but the level design and overall quality definitely goes up after the first couple stages. First couple stages are a 7/10 at most to me, but it ramps up to an 8 after Ice Man, and *especially* after Mega Galoomba, in my opinion.
Successfully assembling a sandwich has never felt so epic, especially with that final boss battle.

made this game during the Secret Santa 2023 event. It was my first time making and finishing a game in a long time (barring the Shortventure game a few months prior that I never finished, also my last finished game was Trash Needle 2 which was SO many years ago), and this was also my first time ever making and coding a boss period. It was a great experience, I had a blast with it, and I hope to make more fangames in the future, perhaps of longer length. :)
