This game is good, and definitely beginner friendly. It's unfortunate that the bosses on floors 80 and 100 didn't have as much effort put into them as the rest, but the platforming is solid from start to finish and the final area is pretty awesome.

Boring for more advanced players but a good game for beginners. Bosses are a bit too simple imo.

While I agree with Paragus on it being easy enough for beginners, I still wouldn't underestimate the last two bosses and some of the last floors.

iconic beginner game, not like it has much competition in the beginner game department, but it's decent enough, pretty much perfect for the first 79 floors, offering memorable songs, swag routes for skilled players, fun level designs both gameplay and style-wise, you name it.
but then at floor 80 everything crashes down for some reason and the game loses everything that makes it good all the way to the end, except for maybe the song in the 90s, that song is pretty good still, but nothing else was enjoyable for the entirety of the last 20 floors.
that's why i find it a questionable decision to recommend this game to beginners, but like i said, not much competition lol
