Very clearly a dopamine like, and it's handled quite well. Like most games like this, I think the atmosphere steals the show a bit, but the gameplay itself is always quite good, would definitely recommend this especially since it's short.

For: Two'n Two'n

This game is pretty rough around the edges but I can't help but love it, every area has it's own thing going on, usually it's own gimmicks, it feels like there's lots of variety and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the whole game. It could definitely be better in places, like the fade to black when you reset on the first screen of a stage is silly, but I just like the platforming a lot in this one.

I really got into the early parts of the game but as it went on it captivated me less and less, especially when I softlocked by saving into a spike. Still it's not bad, just not super good either.

Vine needle, has some neat sections involving the different vines although I didn't absolutely love everything, a few saves didn't feel super good in my opinion but the game overall was a fun time.

I personally find the needle in this game to be really nice and quite satisfying, it still distances itself quite a bit from the original uhuhu games but I like it, although personally I enjoyed extra a bit more than the main game.

Tricky pathing puzzle game, the way gimmicks are used here is genius and I absolutely love it, definitely the definition of quality over quantity. The final screen especially is extremely impressive and the solution feels awesome to pull off, highly recommend this if you like more puzzly needle.

Pretty standard Torore needle, it's decently fun although nothing super special and I think they've made better. Still not bad.

For: Jason Enjoys The Witch's Dangerous Dandies

Very enjoyable gimmicky needle game, all the gimmicks are really fun to mess with and the stages show you cool applications of them, although personally I felt some stuff could be cut down a bit and it would make the game feel a bit more concise, as is some stages feel like they exhaust their cool ideas and then keep going for like 2 or 3 screens. The boss at the end is nice as well, very nicely made game overall.

Pretty enjoyable game with a really cool gimmick involving spells, at times it can be a little overwhelming but I think that's part of the appeal. Understanding the saves and executing them is fun even if some moments are wonky and I'm really unsure what the intended solution to the final save was :P
