I only properly rate games I truly enjoyed.

I took down all of the creator reviews of games I released before Chatran because I no longer wish to be intimately associated with them. Please don't ask me about them anymore; feel free to use any of them in a medley or whatnot, but I do not wish to know that you're using them.

Don't be like infern0! Keeping track of clears is a mistake and I wish to spread this word! Play fangames to play fangames, not to cite a statistic!
Don't be like infern0! Normalize realizing your boundaries and don't commit to something if you aren't feeling it. Don't give in to the sunk cost fallacy! Approach fangames with a healthy mindset and it will reward you!
Don't be like infern0! Be understanding and receptive to the art the great people in the community can produce!

Very creative and enjoyable, with a couple minor pitfalls--had to look up a video to find two secrets, generally found Blue stage (and especially its boss) to be more tedious than the rest, and the avoidance has one attack that will likely be a complete damage sponge until it clicks. Calls back to the good parts of older adventure games without falling into many of the same traps those games fall into that often drive me away. Worth playing for sure

I find the cramped style of lasttis's stage does NOT lend well to the length of the saves in them. It's very awkward in a way I do not enjoy, and consistency I found was fleeting in an annoying manner. I also wish there was slightly more originality to the visuals, especially in parts where the stem of the fruit matter for the jump, because you can't see them when they're plastered on the black part of the background. I couldn't finish it, and generally I felt it had no cool jumps outside of one or two that I came across (the platform mash gravity flip bit at the end of a save early in the stage is hilarious and I appreciate it). Not for me, sorry.
I did enjoy fishuser's stage quite a bit, though I don't have much else to say on it. It was annoying dying on really easy things in it though; but it's all made up for the fact that sightreading saves in general is extremely fun. The last save is funny.

Almost impressively put together. Basically every sequence has something creative going on, and the pathing is crazy for an L game from 2018. Unfortunately it's also an L game from 2018 so it's going to play like it at times, and while the clear for every save was as satisfying as ever (the dopamine's still there boys!), the consistency buildup is agonizing in a few instances (saves 9 and 10 especially). Definitely not for the weak willed and it's frankly miraculous I stuck through it.

Technically impressive and consistently well pathed. Suffers a lot from frequent screen transition jumps and drops; every maze with a scrolling camera was perfectly fine to play, but the static screen mazes were generally much clunkier and frustrating. In general, the game tends to focus much more on the pathing than how the needle actually feels to play, so about half the game I just didn't enjoy very much. However, what it does well it does excellently -- screenwrap, singe/triple jump, four directional gravity, and poison water were very nice, and are very much worth playing for.

A couple things to keep in mind for your next projects:
- Spikes are a bit too light against this background, makes it harder to judge where their hitboxes end. I could get through it without problems but I have good eyesight, just be more careful with the visuals in the future.
- I feel like a lot of people will complain about the save placements here. I certainly felt like doing so, nobody likes to walk to the first jump every attempt, especially in a precision-based game like this.
I personally didn't have much fun with this, but that's more on me not enjoying the essentials of a Hades-like. I do think this game distills the style in almost its purest form--the original Hades is frankly not that original of a game, though maybe in its time it was considered as such. Likewise, I unfortunately didn't see much broken ground in this one--there's not much to be wowed by here. On the contrary, by the final screen I was more annoyed than wowed by anything I saw--the jumps got more awkward in general, and I thought the 4.5 save to be especially annoying to do for a lot of the aforementioned issues.
But do take some of my words with a grain of salt, I haven't been the target audience for stuff like this in years. And until the last screen it was mindlessly enjoyable and I don't think there's anything outright wrong with that.
