Rating based on getting Chapter 3 Ending with all secrets.
I can't give this game a rating lower than 10/10, because it's a masterpiece and an insane showcase of what fangames are capable of being, with an insane amount of content with tons of love and care put into it.
I don't really have much to say in the positives that other people haven't already said.
However, and this is where some people will probably get upset at me, I personally can't love this game as much as everyone else does, if you haven't played this game before, please do, as I will get into spoiler territory.
Chapter 1 is quite honestly the best needle I've ever played, it's exactly the needle I enjoy playing with minor complains, saves flow very nicely, the level design is varied and clever, music is good, visually stunning, fun secrets and floor 100 is my favorite save ever made. Sadly, and it pains me to say this, the game peaked right here for me, I could never quite reach the same amount of enjoyment out of the next parts of the game even if I liked a lot of things about them.
Chapter 2 has you getting back to all the stages to figure out all the secrets and this part is extremely cool, all of them are very cleverly hidden, the best secrets I've seen out of a fangame really, which then reveals the guest stages... and these are very hit or miss, the variety of them makes it unavoidable and there were quite a lot of them that I hated or just didn't enjoy purely due to my tastes, I even had to pause the game for several months because playing these was sometimes unenjoyable.
Shoutouts to a few of the guest stages which I absolutely adored, namely EchoMask (my favorite guest stage by a long shot), Cherry Treehouse (extremely long tho), RandomErik, PlasmaNapkin (even if the stage was very tiring due to the length), Qwylwright, Verve. Just to name a few, I liked other stages but these were the ones I enjoyed the most.
After doing all of the guest stages you get the final boss, which I for the most part didn't enjoy, phase 1 was very annoying to figure out for me and executing the phase when you know what to do wasn't very fun for me either, I just overall found this more annoying than fun. Phase 2 I enjoyed a bit more but there were some stuff that I found frustrating like the barely-visible stars of blue phase, the length of yellow phase and the stupid skull phase, so yeah solid fight but didn't enjoy much, the quality of it was very pretty tho.
Chapter 3... oh boy, I know people will want to murder me, but I didn't enjoy this chapter as much as I thought, the premise and the content is extremely insane and high quality, but as a mostly pure needle enjoyer... yeah I suffered through a lot of gimmicks I didn't like, it was agonizing sometimes, the saves I enjoyed I really loved but the ones I didn't I just straight up hated.
The Metroidvania aspect is something I'm very conflicted with, I love the idea in theory but in execution not so much, huge thanks to Huse for basically backseating the hell out of me with his maps and tips and overall guidance because I would've abandoned the game right here without him. The world is extremely huge, I imagine you can get lost on where to go without a map, and you are mostly just going from short section to short section, but sadly after beating the section there's just no more meaning on going back, it's basically just a very confusing linear section that sometimes makes you repeat stuff for no particular reason. The secrets were very clever but I didn't wanna do them on my own.
I know all of that might sound very negative, and yes it is, it pains me that I didn't just absolutely adored this game like most people, because this game is at its core a masterpiece and a must for all needle enjoyers, particularly gimmick needle enjoyers. As it stands it just goes in a direction that barely misses what I enjoy in fangames. Even then the journey was something special and I liked experiencing this game, everyone should!
Maybe if I complete New Game+ I will update this review, in the meantime, it was an amazing journey.

It's hard to even find something wrong with this game, it's one of the best made fangames I've played, it feels less like playing a fangame and more like playing a fully fledged Metroidvania game.
It has a ton of hours of content, a ton of bosses, items and abilities to get.
If you are itching for a huge adventure game then I definitely recommend playing this one.

A huge project with astonishing quality and a massive amount of effort, the hub is definitely the highlight as the 3D environment is gorgeous, full of life and NPCs with tons of dialogue, it's clear this project had massive care and attention to detail.
The stages themselves I have a gripe with a lot of them, but that's to be expected from the variety of makers and gimmicks present, not everyone will love everything, but there's bound to be something someone finds enjoyable or even loves.
There were clear highlights for me like EchoMask (my favorite stage), StageMan21, renex, nataliexists, Starz0r, Gaphodil, P2shka, to name a few, there were a couple more that I like but that's what comes to mind at this moment.
The game is extremely long and can get fairly difficult at times so if you wanna try this out have this in mind, but I absolutely recommend at least checking out whatever stage catches your attention.

Very good and beautiful game, with tons of secrets and fun levels to go through. Not too hard if you wanna go for any%, I recommend going for it, getting everything however... yeah there's some questionable stuff there that I did not like, the "Getting Over It" sections were starting to get annoying and the slime one has a bug that makes you disappear if you fall for too long which made it a lot more annoying.
The last stage was very fun and it made use of every gimmick very well, it made going for the secrets worth it.

A highly clever trap fangame, it's better to experience this blindly, but one stage is the coolest thing ever.
I didn't like the last stage very much otherwise this was an awesome game with clever mechanics and funny traps.
