This old fangame got a whole rework which means all of the previous bosses, stages and banger songs were changed, remade or removed for now.
But from what I did remember in the past, the level design is clearly improved compared to back then, there are new gimmicks which are usually used along with puzzles for most of the screens, the puzzles involve some thinking yet, they are not too difficult, and there is a graphics option that might help some low-end computers, personally it didn't help that much to my notebook but it might be still useful for others PC.
I would recommend making the flashes less bright on the clouds area, it might get annoying pretty quickly for many people who are sensitive to these.

My only complains are that one hard save on the visual challenge stage, and few things about the final boss.
Final boss could use just a little less of HP on each phase, phase 2 attack could be reworked or changed so it can become an actual interesting phase instead of a phase where you find the safespot, stay still and shoot the boss while waiting for the i-frames to go away, and the one gray lines attack near the end could be nerfed. Also the one stars attack felt a little rough sometimes, but I can't really tell if it should be nerfed since I never found if it was pattern or RNG.
Great music choice by the way.

Fangame is unfinished right now so the review is very likely to change later.
So far there is 1 stage with a boss, and there are few things that could be improved.
The physics are different than the usual IWBTG physics, the kid will always do a high jump no matter how long you press the jump button. The horizontal and vertical movement speed are also different, lots of people will appreciate if the physics are changed to be as close as possible to the IWBTG physics.
Personally I didn't like at all the first screens of the game, feels like I got thrown a lot of fast moving spikes and few tight jumps while I was getting used to the weird physics.
In the sonic chase, I personally prefer if you were not able to defeat sonic, and just do the whole segment with sonic alive.
And for the boss, I think if the blue bubbles didn't make you do a forced jump it would be completely fine, however the red bubbles making the player force jump doesn't sound bad to me.
Also you can enter portals while you are dead! Usually happens when you die in the same X position than the portal, and my guess is, that the kid position still can move even when he is dead.
