However, you can also choose to listen to '4'33" by John Cage'. Here is the tutorial: press 'Q'. This will make you the first person to beat this game with 2 deaths, but this will allow you to choose what you want to listen to. The choice is up to you.
And yet, be warned: there is a profanity if you die .
1 for the 'ability' to choose the song.

I originally felt like this avoidance is harder than some people think it is, and I will leave my initial difficulty rating. But in any way, this is a very good avoidance to show to those who are not familiar with this genre. There is obviously room of improvement with design choices, but it is great, which is the reason of my high rating.
Don't know what much else to add, what was not already said. Give it a try!
Highly would recommend!

Surprisingly, this is one of those cases where my opinion on avoidance did actual change for the better side. Originally, I did not appreciate this avoidance that much. It felt just slightly better than the original. However, now I actually had fun re-playing it, and appreciated a lot of small things here.
It feels like author got more ironic with the whole team, and just embraced the aesthetics that he had created. A lot of random details now felt as something bigger. You have the same design for the title screen ; you have slightly buffed diagonal jump before avoidance (which, originally, just felt like copy of Iruenn's style, but using diagonal jump instead of gate) ; the very end of avoidance does refer to someone to the community (originally it was Hosungryn, now it was Square), and, using quote, how you cannot really judge the game just by its title. And to add even more, the fact that this game uses 'Demonic Little Grey Cat Theme Phase 2', and even provides option to clear both original game and now this 2nd phase together as 1 avoidance, is such a cool idea conceptually, even if it is much harder and I would probably not have fun of replaying 'Another Bad Barrage' all over again. Oh, yeah, also author's ironic review is a cool addition to this whole game, not gonna lie.
And then the avoidance itself changes its colouring from neutral purple to active red, which fits a lot to the song. You get to the action real fast, and honestly even attacks are quite creative a lot of times, like the platform part or attack that sprays bullets above you but tracks your position. There were some meh attacks, like bouncing in the middle and in the end, but it was at least balanced in an interesting way.
Game is much harder than the first entry, so do not expect this to be easy. However, it is pretty fun to dodge these fast attacks, and trying to figure out how to survive in an optimal way.
Originally, I wanted to give 47 difficulty and 5.8 rating. Now as you can see, both numbers are higher. And I am glad that I have replayed this game.
Would recommend for those who want to play some slightly above average difficulty barrage.
For: I wanna memento-mori
This game uses 'Persona 3 reload' soundtrack, so it might be a bit unexpected to hear English song, used in Marimario song, and I love that.
Game has an intro which shuffles 4 random attacks, which are not very hard, besides vertical lines. But it is fine to get used to. Then starts the main avoidance and it is all pattern based, except like this attack: https://youtu.be/dmA23AbJqBw?t=37, but it is not a big issue. In the beginning I do recommend using my starts on the lower platforms, since it makes patterns easier.
Once you get here: https://youtu.be/dmA23AbJqBw?t=37, there is chance that this is where you might start getting laggs from time to time. Unfortunately, this game has such moments so you have to be aware of that.
Anyway, I really love patterns here. Really fun to execute, even if some are not necessarily easy (example: https://youtu.be/dmA23AbJqBw?t=41) to perform. My favorite moments starts from chorus part: https://youtu.be/dmA23AbJqBw?t=50. You will get heavy laggs here on weaker PCs, but god this is so beautiful. Patterns are really fun, and visuals fit so much. I think once you get to the moon part, the patterns are even more fun and are very satisfying to perform.
Game has a lot of sprite changes, which are kind of similar to the music video, except it is even more bright and colorful. It is a real tribute to Persona 3 and I love that!
However, this game's difficulty comes from the pre-finale. It is an indicator moment where you have to react where the fruit rings starts to appear. That will be the free space where you can dodge. It is definitely the hardest moment in the game, but I do not mind that. This game does not want you to fluke patterns, but instead knowing 100% what are you supposed to do. And that is so cool. I did not mind to replay this avoidance to get until the finale. Finale requires good memory and reaction, especially for the last rings. However, it does raise difficulty by a lot. Normally this would be 60-65, but because of the finale, I am rating this as high as I am. I might be overrating, but I think the difficulty is much higher to that, especially if you do not have good reaction like me. You need to be excellent in the main part and you need to do very well in the finale.
The best part is the outro which is really easy RNG, but it fits really well to the music and the overall theme.
This game has few issues, one of which are laggs. Author does provide you a version without surfaces, but I would not recommend trying that one. It is just not the same vibe. Also gameplay-wise the moment before cutscene (https://youtu.be/dmA23AbJqBw?t=50) does not work in the same way as in the surface version.
Another issue is that game is extremely low volume-wise due to a simple FMod error that author made. It is not a very big issue though.
However, I really loved grinding this game. It was a wonderful journey, and I wish more people would give a chance to this game. The finale is rough, but it is worth it, in my sincere opinion.
I do not want to go more into the gameplay, if you do not like playing blind, I recommend using my strats. Or if you like playing blind, then probably you will enjoy finding the strats. Although be aware, that this avoidance is not easy. And, honestly, it does not need other difficulties. It is beautiful as it is, since it was made with this difficulty intention.
I hope to see more of Marimario! I was really grateful to see his sudden returnal and I hope it is not for the last time!
Easily TOP2 of my all-time favourite avoidances! If I had to give my exact rating, then it would have been 9.99999999.
Highly would recommend for more experienced avoidance players!

There are interesting moments in this avoidance, but you also have some very questionable moments, as well. Sure, you have interesting spirals or attacks that require you to go to the centre. But why are you giving me very fast and standard bouncing? Or bursts which can give everything or nothing? The moments which are interesting, I found to be interesting or for a bit. They cannot handle everything for long time.
Final few attacks are the hardest attacks in the avoidance. Quite chaotic and quite scary to dodge.
I have beaten this avoidance back in December of 2023, and now as well. I think my opinion has not changed much. Maybe this avoidance had some unique aspect back in 2020, but now it kind of feels outdated for me. I do not find this game appealing nowadays. It is not bad, but it does not offer anything particularly interesting so that I could say that this is a good avoidance. A bit monotonous if you ask me. And that is especially clear if you look on intro, which does not manage to show the slow buildup in an interesting way.
If you are decent enough in avoidances, you will probably beat this thing in less than an hour and will forget about it quickly enough.
Honestly, I would not really recommend this, unless you need some quick barrage game to play.
