There's a couple platform jumps that feel very out of place, but the rest of the game is pretty solid - fun jumps, good usage of vines and water and platforms, visuals are nice on the eyes, and well balanced saves. Keep in mind the 2-block drop setup for the final screen!

The good parts: great pathing, nice visuals, most saves are fun and balanced.
The not so good parts: The music grated on me after a while, and some jumps are a significant difficulty spike, most notably a FTFA-like jump in the middle of a save and several vine jumps into a tbone (one of them in a save with an underwater dplane on top of that!)
It is a well-known tenet that restrictions breed creativity, but if you restrict yourself too much then that doesn't work too well, and sadly with 32px grid needle I feel one can only do so much without either going into FTFA territory (which is not bad per se, but not my cup of tea) or spamming named jumps (challenge: count all the tbones in screenshot 1/3)
It's still a decent needle game, and I'm glad I cleared it despite being outside my comfort zone. Looking forward to seeing what AlexBrogan can do in a less restrictive context.

The backgrounds are too cluttered to my taste, with excess decorations that makes it harder to read than necessary - except the third stage, which is very pleasant to look at. The gameplay and pathing are very good - a solid recommendation for beginners.

Cute Celeste inspired fangame that makes good use of the classic vines and then some. The visuals are great. The music loop in the last stage is very awkward. There was one vine jump that felt a bit too tight, one awkward cycle in the horizontal wind screen, and the ending is a bruh moment, but on the other hand the autoscroller screen was awesome!
Would recommend to players familiar with the IWM vines and possessing enough skill/patience, definitely not one for beginners.

rating and difficulty based on any% - will give a more detailed review when I finish 100%
As a gimmick enjoyer, I really appreciate that the difficulty lies more in the gimmick use and combination than in using the gimmick to do overly precise tricks (e.g. upside down gate). Even the more input salad-y saves have enough leeway that it's more a matter of figuring out what to do and executing than tight timing. The way the gimmicks are used is very creative, and the level design flows well. The visuals, music and bosses are also neat.
I didn't stray much to collect shinies, so I can't opine on that until I finish 100 %
Overall would highly recommend to fellow gimmick enjoyers - preferably on a keyboard!
