Music2 is probably one of the most unique and bizarre fangame releases of all time. The concept of this game is extremely ambitious, it's basically an avoidance game with rhythm game elements. It has a total of 45 unique avoidances, and 136 if you count every difficulty as an individual avoidance. It's genuinely insane that an avoidance game with this amount of content can exist in any shape or form.
The avoidances themselves will definitely filter a lot of people. A few years ago I thought that this was one of my least favorite fangames ever because of the nature of the avoidances. Almost all of them have super bland visuals that barely stand out at all from each other. The attack design is often repetitive and outdated, and almost all avoidances have so many aspects that are generally considered "bad design", such as unfair luck checks, boring intros, instagibs, visual challenge, pretty much everything you have ever seen an avoidance be criticized for will be in this game in spades.
Beyond the repetitive exterior of the game, a lot of the avoidances do actually stand out, even if it's most of the time in unconventional ways. It feels like there's actually a lot of creativity in the game. A lot of the avoidances have very different ways of messing with the player. Evans is an avoidance that stands out for being basically 100% memorization, Ignited Night Burst infinite has a spotlight effect, GOLDEN CROSS has a background that adds a lot of visual challenge, Faily_dancing_in_lake has an iconic final attack that requires a lot of memorization, Snow Drive has rng attacks that are masked as pattern, Gabba has curving that is locked into screen rotation, YUKARI has a blind frame perfect input, satisfiction has the infamous 1/50 luck check, the list goes on and on.
There's also a lot of stuff in this game that has a lot of comedic value. Grimm is really funny for having the most anticlimactic final attack ever, Bamboo Sword Girl has a sudden extremely fast and unreadable attack that is hard to not laugh at. By far the funniest avoidance in the game is of course Boneless, which is just absolutely hilarious to even look at for so many reasons.
One thing that makes this game have a lot of aura is the five superbosses: Black or White, Longhena Cantata, Schrodingers Cat, Ninur and Sakura. All of them are super intimidating and iconic for their own reasons. Watching Pluto play through all of them is basically what finally made this game click for me. Even if I didn't care for the rest of the game yet, I really admired these five beasts.
There are so many design choices in the game that are really thought provoking and interesting, but even if you don't want to deal with them, there's still a lot to love about this game. Just playing the avoidances casually, maybe perfecting some novices and unlocking new songs at the shop is just so much fun, and stuff like the custom characters for some makers really give this game so much charm. I think that this is definitely one of the most special fangames I have ever played.

Amazing adventure game. The traps are super funny, and there are so many iconic moments throughout the game. It stays very silly but gets a bit serious at stage 4 which was probably my favorite stage. Overall a very charming game.
