First off, the game looks great and is almost all original art. Huge props to that. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't quite live up to that. The platforming has some cool gimmicks and several fun parts, but a lot of annoyance and really bad traps. The beginning of the game is quite fun, but the middle section, starting at the mountain, starts to feel pretty unpleasant. The bosses feel really cool, but are mostly annoying to play. The big offenders are the wizard and the robot, both of which felt very unfun. Fort Ferdinand is the best platforming in the game, making true end feel like a major step up. The final boss is alright, but still suffers from some awkward attacks. Also, both the robot and final boss would benefit greatly from checkpoints. Overall, the game is worth playing, but expect some serious rough patches.

Coinstack is a really cool collectathon fangame that is an homage to MoneySeize, a classic flash game. The game is centered around collecting coins from a variety of levels, using a dash and a walljump on top of your usual repertoire. The level design is for the most part fun, and does some clever stuff, making good use of the various gimmicks introduced. The special objectives are cool, and provide an interesting challenge. Unfortunately, I can't recommend going for 100%. I was planning on it, so collected every single coin, before ultimately finding too much of it unpleasant and stopping after any%. Many levels have a few coins that just aren't as fun. Additionally, some entire levels don't feel enjoyable, especially in the later game. The later levels begin to feel like they're using the movement to be clunky and precise rather than smooth and fun to execute. I think I would've had a better experience if I just accepted skipping some coins and levels.

An incredible sequel to one of my favorite games. It's not perfect, in fact there was one specific gimmick I kinda loathed, but I was having peak enjoyment for the vast majority of the game so it would feel disingenuous to give it a lower rating.
Freezemind feels like you're playing a bunch of short games, each with different controls and aesthetics. It has incredible creativity, super fun boundry pushing gimmicks, a banger soundtrack, and of course the jaw dropping visuals Burnmind was known for. I can understand intellectually that this game is not for everyone, but I had such an incredible time playing it I refuse to say any thing except "I recommend this game to everyone ever". I don't want to sully the experience by putting any of the gimmicks to words. I love this game.

Really fun point and click style horror game. It's short but sweet, with some fun short platforming and simple puzzles. There are hints scattered around in a clever way I really appreciated. The game also manages to be legitimately creepy at times! I really enjoyed this, and it's an easy recommendation for a quick romp.

Despite having an excellent aesthetic and really well put together visuals, I unfortunately cannot recommend Scare at all, due to the extremely unpleasant nature of the gameplay. Some parts of it are passable, although in every stage there is little fear to be gained, as any scary sequence is broken up with annoyingly difficult generic needle, and boring flying spike traps. The places where the traps make an effort to follow the theming, i.e. monsters coming out of the walls, are cool, but 2/3 traps are just flying spikes or the like. Every stage had at least one, but often several screens that were awful to play, with segments that were way too precise (eye clock thing in the top left) or completely unintuitive (the multiple occasions where you suddenly need to use the mouse). The House stage, despite having incredible visuals and some legitimately creepy stuff, is abysmal to play, with every screen having unpleasant platforming and nonsense solutions to obstacles, as well as lots of needless downtime. The real lowpoint of the game is the bosses, which range from bad to worse. Some of them could be passed off as a generic and boring but acceptable fight. However the bottom two bosses were some of the least enjoyable fights I've played in a while. With a lot of inscrutable patterns and shitty rng, they're just awful grindfests. Additionally, there are a number of ear destroying sounds, such as a boss that starts every single attempt with an ear splitting screech. The House Girl boss was significantly harder than the rest, and also the least fun.
Ultimately, this game should not be played. It's unfortunate, because it looks so good, but the game design is very very bad.
